The Jewish Collaborative of Orange County invites you to participate in the following pre-Yom Kippur programs to start you on your path of spiritual preparation for the New Year.
PRE-YOM KIPPUR PROGRAMS
September 15th: Stepping Out of Shabbes
Saturday, September 15 at a private home from 3:00 – 5:00pm. Join others in recovery for a Shabbat afternoon program dedicated to discussing one of the Twelve Steps or Twelve Traditions and connecting the theme to Jewish spirituality and learning. RSVP for location.
September 16th: 3 Special Programs for All Ages
KOL NIDRE FOR MEMORY CARE
Sunday September 16th 10:30am – noon, join the Jewish Collaborative at Heritage Pointe for a special program geared to those suffering from dementia or Alzheimers, and their families.
SUCH A SWEET SUKKAH
Sunday September 16th 1:30 – 3:00pm, join us as we build our sukkah at St. Mark Presbyterian, 2200 San Joaquin Hills Road, Newport Beach. Our “Such a Sweet Sukkah” event is in collaboration with the Golden Dreidle. Come help JCoOC set up and create decorations for our sukkah, and make an edible sukkah of your own to take home for the kids.

WATERS OF RENEWAL
Sunday September 16th 4:00pm, experience the power of immersion as we meet up at Shaw’s Cove in Laguna Beach for a spiritual renewal and mikveh experience. Join us with Rabbi Peter Levi during Aseret Y’mei Teshuvah (ten days of repentance) at our Creator’s mikveh – the Pacific Ocean – as we immerse to return to our most genuine selves.
