Grief Support Resources

If you are coping with the loss of a loved one, it can be helpful to have support. Find bereavement support in a Jewish context through the following Orange County resources.

Jewish Bereavement Support Group: “Yanheini v’maglei tzedek

(“You guide me along the right paths”)

JFFS Bereavement Support Groups

Irvine group meets Tuesday at 2 – 3:30 p.m.

A new bereavement group will begin on December 12, 2017, for those who are newly bereaved.  It is an open group and individuals can join at any time.  Please call Sara Schoenhorn, MSW, at 949-435-3460, ext. 352, with questions. 

Laguna Woods group meets Monday at 10 – 11:30 a.m.
For those individuals who have recently lost a loved one, these 1.5 hour groups offer heartfelt support and guidance with feelings of loneliness, loss and isolation, learning how to live with grief, and moving forward. To register, call Cally at 949.435.3460, ext. 359

Ezra Center Grief Support Group

Meets at Temple Beth Emet in Anaheim
Thursdays, 9:30-11 a.m.
