A Shabbat Evening Service Dedicated to Those in Recovery
The Jewish Collaborative of Orange County (JCoOC) invites members of the Jewish community who are in recovery from addiction, along with family members, friends, and anyone interested in this unique spiritual experience, to join us for Serenity Shabbat. This is OC’s first celebration of the dual blessings of Recovery & Shabbat through music and study, led by Rabbi Marcia Tilchin and Cantorial Soloist Jason Feddy. Free of charge.
The next Serenity Shabbat will be held Friday Aug 24, 2018. The service will be held at Temple Beth Tikvah, 1600 N. Acacia Ave, Fullerton at 6:30pm with an Oneg to follow. Please sign up for our mailing list to be notified of Serenity Shabbat dates and locations, as well as other JCoOC events.
The Jewish Collaborative of Orange County honors the recovery community by fusing the wisdom of Jewish tradition with the spiritual practice of Recovery so more people can “feel the joy of Jewish” in a personally meaningful way.
Jewish Federation & Family Services (JFFS) Jewish Substance Abuse Task Force is committed to supporting Jewish sober/ recovery events, increasing resources, and decreasing stigma around addiction issues in our community.
This event is supported by the JFFS Jewish Substance Abuse Task Force and Jewish Addiction Awareness Network
